Coping with loss
Everybody deals with losing something or someone during life. Sometimes you need a little help to process this and learn how to cope with it.
After experiencing a loss (divorce, dismissal or the dead of a loved one) you can react in a different way than you normally do. You are unreasonable or quiet, not in the mood to do anything or you react irritable. You may also be very sad or very, very happy. There’s nothing wrong with that if you look at what happened. All these reactions are expressions of your emotions. It will pass with time. But if this continues for a longer period of time it may cause a blockage in processing the loss. In that situation it can be helpful to have someone to guide you in processing and learn you how to cope with it.
At BLOOM we can help you to cope with different types of losses like divorce (of your parents), dismissal and the dead of a loved one. You want to know how? Please contact BLOOM. Together we’ll find the right person to help you.
