Lucy Bosscher

Lucy Bosscher

“In this fast paced world where agendas rule and pressure to succeed is mounting people live divorced from their bodies. What I do is help them re-unite and become a power couple.

Healthy. Confident. Happy.

And all that through Pilates!”

Lucy Bosscher has developed a unique teaching style, strong on verbal cueing and imagery- a nod to her background in languages. Her primary focus is to empower people by helping them understand their own body and use it in the most efficient manner.

“In 2011 after 25 years of expatriate living and an international career ranging from foreign affairs and diplomacy to luxury & executive education, a dozen of countries and 8 languages in my baggage I settled in The Hague. No stranger to re-invention and starting anew, I decided  to change direction and translate my long time passion for Pilates into business. And so ASPIRE Pilates studio came into being.”

Lucy Bosscher has been practicing Pilates since 2005. It is curiosity about her own body and movement that led her to pursue Pilates teacher training with Renee Watson, founder of highly reputable Conscious Movement Education in Cape Town, South Africa in 2007 and subsequently in 2014. ASPIRE Pilates, is part of the Conscious Movement Education international network with studios around the globe from Mauritius to the United Kingdom.

Lucy also trained with Rael Isacowitz, founder of the renowned Body Arts and Science International (BASI).  Lucy Bosscher strives to continually enhance and perfect her skills and regularly participates in international Pilates conferences and workshops seeking out inspiring teachers and mentors. Having explored different schools of Pilates, Lucy has adopted an evolving view of Pilates and works using a Block System® pioneered by Rael Isacowitz. She is the only Pilates professional in The Hague who uses this methodology.

Lucy knows many languages, for example French, Russian, Turkish, Persian, Bosnian and more…
